I’m Rebecca Lafunor, and I’ve called Asheville home since I was five. These mountains have shaped who I am — I know them by heart. Not just the streets and zip codes, but the character of each neighborhood and the rhythm of our community.
With over eight years as a licensed agent and experience as a Broker-in-Charge for two firms, I now proudly serve as Team Leader for Western North Carolina and Certified Mentor in the Asheville area with Premiere Group, the #1 team in units across the country for Real Broker.
I specialize in helping clients navigate every kind of real estate journey — from first-time homebuyers and retirees to those purchasing vacation homes, land, new builds, or luxury estates. I serve all of Western North Carolina, including Black Mountain, Old Fort, Swannanoa, Woodfin, Weaverville, Biltmore Forest, Biltmore Park, Hendersonville, Fletcher, Arden, Candler, Waynesville, and Burnsville — within about a 45-minute radius of Asheville.
I hold the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS®), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), and Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designations, equipping me to help you buy or sell with confidence — whether you’re moving across the world or planning your next chapter here in the mountains.

Before real estate, I spent 23 years in nonprofit work, providing direct care and counseling. That experience taught me how to truly listen, anticipate needs, and support people through meaningful life transitions — skills I bring into every client relationship. I don’t just help you buy or sell a home; I help you make empowered decisions that move your life forward.
It’s about more than finding the perfect home or negotiating the best deal. I can also show you where to find the best hiking trails, local restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries. Asheville and its surrounding towns are rich in arts, festivals, entertainment, and outdoor adventures, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
I also love to travel and currently own a second home in Uganda, Africa — a place that reminds me daily of the beauty of home and community, wherever you are in the world.
